back to work

it’s official.  this is my last week of being “at liberty”.  i have worn sweatpants every single day of this week and loved the non-stop marathon of “keeping up with the kardashians”.  i left my last job as an associate development director at a real estate development company in may 2012.  i spent the summer doing a lot of traveling and then getting ready to move myself and the little guy pictured here, theodore pickles, to london to be with my fiancé.  as soon as i moved, i started at the KLC School of Design getting my degree in Interior Design.  After graduating in July, I traveled and did the final preparations for my wedding in September, 2013.  I can’t believe how fast the time went.  It feels like i’ve been doing a lot of hurry-up-and-wait, and “as soon as…” in my life this past year.  all of this has really been going towards me getting a job and living/lapping up life in london.  i know that they say that it’s not the destination, it’s the journey and all that, but it finally feels like i’m grabbing a hold of my steering wheel.

  1. First off I would like to say excellent blog! I had
a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are
wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
    Any suggestions or tips? Kudos!
